Our Work     ACMF Team

ACMF works closely with a number of leading business enterprises and institutions: Mahindras, Rallis, Saint Gobain, Shriram Group, Tata Chemicals, TCS, Tata International, Tata Steel.

ACMF invites wider participation in this common endeavour.

ACMF has also been interacting with policymakers in Delhi at the Krishi Bhawan, the Yojana Bhawan, APEDA… and with the Tamil Nadu state government, the agri and horticulture departments, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and the Purdue and Wisconsin universities in the US…

ACMF attempts to reach the benefits of the invaluable research work done at such institutions to the farmer. The tools of technology available in the form of mobile handsets and internet are sought to be used effectively to provide expert advice to the farmer.

The small farmer can't afford the physical presence of experts; ACMF attempts to provide such expertise at the universities, government departments corporates taking advantage of the information and communication technology. The ACMF-TCS mKrishi collaboration is one such attempt to provide such expertise to several hundred vegetable growers in Kancheepuram district adjacent to Chennai.

With the Tatas, ACMF is attempting quantum increases in production of pulses, with Mahindras and Tata Steel Agrico division on farm mechanization and with TCS to utilise tools of information and communication technologies.
